Brightstar Hospitality is a fast-growing hotel management company with a wealth of experience in managing branded and independent hotels. We manage both independent and branded hotels, working in partnership with internationally recognised brands.
We are passionate about our hotels and their success and as we fast track our expansion, we are looking for a People & Culture Executive to join our team to support our hotels and work alongside our external HR advisors to deliver an exceptional employee journey and positive culture.
Role: Talent & Culture Executive
Reporting to: Managing Director & Operations Directors
Location: Stratford Upon Avon, with some home working and travel to hotels required - nationally
To succeed in this role, you should be familiar with using HR software, MS Office and other tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement talent management strategies and initiatives that align with the company’s overall goals.
- Design and execute talent acquisition and retention processes, including sourcing, selection, and onboarding.
- Implement diversity, equality and inclusion initiatives that create a welcoming and inclusive work environment for all employees.
- Take the lead on the organization's Mental Health First Aid program, including training, supporting Mental Health First Aiders, and developing policies and procedures that support employee mental health and wellbeing.
- Develop and deliver learning and development programmes to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Conduct regular employee engagement surveys and obtain feedback and coaching to employees to improve their performance.
- Create and maintain employee policies and procedures in compliance with laws and regulations.
- Monitor and report on key talent and culture metrics to track the effectiveness of talent management and culture programmes and initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
- Proven experience as an HR coordinator / manager or Business Administrator
- Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
- In-depth understanding of online recruitment platforms
- Familiarity with social media recruiting
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle data confidentially.
- Good organisational and time management skills
- A motivated self-learner, who enjoys learning and engaging with new systems
- CIPD certification is an advantage.
**Salary**: From £28,000.00 per year
