**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
- Engage with customers to understand their preferences and provide tailored recommendations.
- Utilise effective upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase sales.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to provide accurate information to customers.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system while ensuring adherence to phone etiquette.
- Keep the sales floor organised and visually appealing, restocking items as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance overall store performance.

**Requirements**:

- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer engagement.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and providing change accurately.
- Previous experience in a retail or sales environment is an advantage but not essential.
- A friendly demeanour with the ability to build rapport with customers quickly.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: Up to £13.15 per hour

Expected hours: 17 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
