Whittington NHS Trust are currently looking for a Switchboard Operator to join Bank on a full time basis Monday - Saturday.

As a Switchboard Operative you will provide an efficient and effective service for Patients, staff and visitors, answering all internal and external calls.

**Duties**
- Answer all internal and external calls to the Trust in a prompt nd helpful manner
- Carry out regular routine emergency tests and record all responses
- To operate all telecommunications equipment as appropriate
- Carry out first line checks on all equipment failures eg bleeps, pagers, mobiles
- Respond effectively and efficiently to all internal bleeps systems
- Assist in training of all new staff
- To assist in any ad-hoc tasks

**Essential Requirements**
- Educated to GCSE level
- RSA 1/2 typing skills
- ECDL Experience
- Previous Switchboard experience
