Walters People have partnered with a leading business based in central London who are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk on a permanent basis. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and have full ownership of the Accounts Payable function,implementing new processes and helping to build the function.

**Key Responsibilities as Accounts Payable Clerk**:

- First point of contact for suppliers, maintaining the accounts payable inbox
- Ensuring all invoices are processed in timely matter ensure a high level of accuracy and attention to detail is maintained
- Reviewing outstanding invoices list daily and investigate queries
- Responsible for Weekly BACs and CHAPS payment run
- Preparing and maintaining payment forecast for all major suppliers.
- Maintaining supplier accounts and supplier reconciliations.
- Matching, entering, and coding of invoices

**About you as the Accounts Payable Clerk**:
This role would best a suit an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk comfortable working in a standalone role and implementing new processes.
- Minimum 5 years' experience within an AP role is essential
- Experience with Excel is essential
- High attention to detail
- Excellent work ethic and able to work well within a team
- Able to work well under pressure
