**About The Role**:
Are you passionate about safety and compliance? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to protecting others? LiveWest is looking for a dedicated Estate Safety Officer to join our team and help us ensure the safety and wellbeing of our customers, colleagues, and visitors.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Fire Safety Compliance**: Conduct weekly fire alarm and Automatic Smoke Vent (AOV) testing, monthly emergency light testing, and fire door inspections to ensure all communal areas are safe and compliant.
- **Site Inspections**:Perform regular visual site inspections to maintain sterile and safe common areas, and raise waste removal forms to address any issues promptly.
- **Legionella Management**:Carry out weekly Legionella water flushes at required outlets, record findings, and report any necessary remedial actions to maintain water safety.
- **Risk Assessments**: Complete Scheme Risk Assessments, identifying, quantifying, and prioritising all associated works to ensure comprehensive safety measures are in place.

This role is being offered on a **full time**, **permanent**basis working 37 hours per week. This is a field based role, based across the **Tolvaddon/Falmouth/Redruth/Truro** area.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety, Asbestos, and Fire Regulations/Legislation.
- Experience with fire alarm and emergency lighting systems.
- Lone working experience.
- Knowledge of Property Compliance Regulations/Legislation.
- Ability to analyse information, make informed judgements, appraise performance and manage risk.
- Ability to professionally convey information for formal reports.
- Experience in customer service and handling complaints, both internally and externally.
- IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH qualification.
- **Desirable**: ProQual Level 3 in Fire Door Installations, M&E/Construction Apprenticeship, CPD in fire safety management.
