Bridge Street Stone Ltd is one of the market leading suppliers of stone and landscaping products in the North. We require a motivated person to join our team at our Harrogate Branch. Industry specific experience within a Builders Merchants (or similar Trade role) is desirable, although not essential. This post offers a real opportunity to develop your skills in a broad ranging role which encompasses both operational duties and sales.
(no two days are the same).

Based at our Branch expanding branch in Harrogate, you will have the opportunity to advance and take on extra responsibilities. You are coming onboard at an exciting time, working for a small fast growing company.

**Role responsibilities**:

- Serving customers at our Trade counter.
- Answering queries from commercial customers or members of the public in an engaging and helpful manner.
- Updating sales system.
- booking deliveries and working with other departments to facilitate orders.
- Loading Orders by Forklift (Training Given)
- Any other duties deemed as reasonable within the scope of the job role

**Role requirements**:

- Experience of working within a Stone or Builder’s Merchant is an advantage although NOT essential as full training can be provided for the right applicant.
- Customer service experience (essential).
- FLT licence (desirable)
- You’ll be an enthusiastic, approachable, and motivated person with a proactive and ‘can do’ attitude.
- You’ll also be team oriented with a strong sense of responsibility.
- You’ll need to be available to work full-time: Monday to Friday, plus alternate Saturday mornings (0800-1200).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Starting Salary: £27,040.00-£31,200.00 (Basic) dependent on experience, plus Overtime and bonuses.

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Saturday Morning on rotation paid at time and a half.

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime at time and a half.

**Experience**:

- Customer service experience of at least 2 years (Essential).
- Builders Merchant or similar experience (Desirable)
