**Finance Director, On-site,Milton Keynes - competitive salary and benefits package**

We need a commercially astute Finance Director to manage a busy finance function and to make a commercial contribution to the business. You will report to the Managing Director with a dotted line to the Group Finance Director and be a key member of the seniormanagement team.

Established in 1973, Rohan Designs Limited is one of the UK's leading brands for travel, adventure and outdoor clothing. Based in Milton Keynes, we have over 50 shops around the UK and operate a successful online business. Turnover is in excess of £35 millionand we employee 330 staff. Rohan is a wholly owned subsidiary of H. Young Holdings PLC.

**The Role**:
You will be responsible for the management and direction of the finance function with a team of 8, 4 of which are direct reports, and will provide leadership and co-ordination in the administrative, business planning, accounting and budgeting functions ofthe business. You will be an integral member of the senior management team.

**Key tasks**:

- Provide direction and leadership to the Finance department to ensure timely production of management accounts.
- Motivate and develop the Finance team.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and development of the business as a key member of the senior management team.
- Ensure strong financial management of the business, its systems and processes.
- Provide a commercial lead in currency management, working capital and cash control.
- Provide internal reporting in accordance with H Young Group requirements.
- Understand, monitor and mitigate key elements of the Company’s risk profile.

**The person**:

- Track record at Board or equivalent level in delivering and driving business strategy and performance improvements.
- Ability to think commercially and contribute effectively to the business while keeping hands on the detail.
- Capable of effective and objective liaison with the Managing director and senior colleagues.
- Pragmatic and practical.
- Able to simplify and articulate the financial impacts and outcomes of business issues to non
- financial colleagues.
- Qualified Accountant ACA/CIMA/ACCA with relevant post qualification experience of working as a Finance Director or equivalent in a similar organisation.
