My Client is a global Specials Manufacturer who are based near Watford in the UK. This role will be responsible for the implementation, operation and improvement of Commercial's processes in scope of Global Business Services (GBS).

**Description**
- Lead the strategic direction for all Commercial shared services activity across all GBS operations to transform the current delivery into a global service delivery model using retained/embedded teams and outsource service provider (OSP) as per the GBS model.
- As the strategic business partner and advisor to the Commercial lead of the OSP, facilitate through leadership, counsel and insight to drive performance and value creation to the Commercial team. In particular, this role will maintain and build a strongpartnership with the Commercial Leadership and retained team, and the OSP team to drive best practices, standardisation and process improvements.
- Build and maintain two-way communication amongst the Commercial team and the OSP to understand escalated inquiries, support requests and/or new requirements related to process area.
- Develop tracking, communication and protocols for resolving issues/problems including root cause analysis and employ these tools with the OSP and the Commercial retained organisation. Work with other GPOs / Function leads to resolve integrated matters.
- Assure OSP processes are designed in a sound manner and operating as intended as it relates to Commercial processes, liaise with Global Commercial to obtain sign off on new or changed processes.
- Improve operational effectiveness by providing and delivering the most efficient and cost effective Commercial processes within the GBS structure. Deliver simple, standardized and sustainable solutions. This role will drive identification and targeted standardizationareas in order to drive consistency of processing across the business.
- Execute on identified targeted savings initiatives from the OSP and OSP Commercial Lead and drive necessary changes in people, process and technology to effect the changes. Manage and oversee the volumes and resulting service charges for the function. Verifyvolumetrics OSP are using for charges, drive improvements to reduce relevant volumes and source or identify budget for increases, working with FLT or association business growth. With the OSP and Commercial leadership, assess innovation investment opportunitiesand oversee implementation and benefits attainment.
**Profile**
- Ideally has shared services, outsourcing or CoE delivery in area of sales or commercial support, either responsible for leading delivery or overseeing provider.
- Experience gained within an appropriate industry sector in end-to-end process, continuous improvement and change management in the context of shared services, systems and transformation initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced and changing environment.
- Excellent relationship and project management skills
- Ability to set and manage a roadmap that balances longer term strategic attainment and more shorter term operational improvements.
- Highly collaborative and able to operate in a matrixed environment with the retained organisation and the OSP Leader to deliver end to end continuous process improvement, standardization and best-practice implementation initiatives.
- Demonstrates thorough understanding and knowledge of Commercial and external body requirements, i.e. audit, compliance etc.
- Good experience, knowledge and understanding of relevant Function specific systems ideally with experience gained from playing a key role in a significant implementation project.
