Darthaven Marina is located in the stunning South Hams countryside, surrounded by rolling hills and in a truly tranquil setting. Our impressive 270 berth marina has grown over the past 30 years and we continue to pride ourselves in the first-class service weprovide to our berth holders, visitors and customers.
We’re currently looking for Marina Assistants to join us in Kingswear and enhance our dedicated, customer-focused team.

**What will I be doing?**
As a Marina Assistant, you will be responsible for providing an excellent level of service at our marina, ensuring berthing customers are supported and treated courteously.
This role will see you involved in the following:

- Running the berthing office as part of our Berthing Team
- Undertaking daily rounds and checks of the marina
- Allocating berths to berth-holders and visiting craft
- Maintaining the presentation of the pontoons and marina
- Assisting with berthing vessels
- Resolving general enquiries and reporting any incidents
This role will involve lifting, carrying, working on damp and wet surfaces, including pontoons, handling large boats and using equipment such as an industrial pressure washer.
**What do I need?**
To be considered as the Marina Assistant, you will need:

- Excellent customer service skills
- A can-do attitude
- To be well-presented
- A friendly, positive outlook
We’re also interested in hearing from those from a hospitality background, particularly with front of house experience, or similar. Any marine or maritime knowledge would also be beneficial.
We are offering this role on a full-time, part-time or job share basis. It is envisaged that part-time work will be at least three days per week and job shares would ideally be two people both working four days per week each.
Due to the nature of our business, work will be a mixture of daytime, evening and weekend work with some bank holidays as part of a rota.
