Staff Software Engineer

We are partnered with one of the most well known and popular retail brands in the UK. This brand is going through an exciting technology transformation across the whole business, and this includes redefining the company into a digital first and engineeringled business
It's a super exciting time to join and be a part of working on a digital platform that interacts with millions of committed customers daily. They are now looking for Staff Software Engineer's (the most Senior Technical level role within the business) tohelp push the boundaries and lead the industry into a greener, speedier, more inspiring digital era.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Experience in the latest practices of a modern digital ecosystem - CI/CD, TDD, BDD, automation & pair programming
- Solid understanding of design principles and software approaches like Domain Driven Design
- Experience with cloud engineering (Azure, AWS)
- Experience provisioning IaaS and PaaS services within cloud environments
- Experience mentoring and guiding developers
Technology stack: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, GraphQL, Next.js, Git
Location: London based in their incredible HQ (flexible working available and lots of remote work)
Salary range: £104k + annual bonus of 20%+ and excellent benefits including staff discount, leading training programmes, engineering events, share-buy scheme
