Laboratory Technician

Our client, a global leader in the life science industry, are looking for a Laboratory Technician with previous experience in Pipette Maintenance. This role would suit someone already working as a Laboratory Technician and who enjoys working in customer-centricenvironments.

**Key tasks and responsibilities**:
Pipette Management
- To test customer QC & R&D equipment in accordance with the corresponding customer SOP.
- To document the pre-calibration and post-calibration conditions of the customer equipment with an overall assessment of Suitable for use; indicating that the results are within the permitted tolerances/specification limits of the test/adjustment activity/tolerances/specificationlimits of the test/adjustment activity
- To provide calibration labels for the tested equipment as applicable.

Media Receipt and Stock Control Management
- Responsible for liaising with customer warehouse personnel for media deliveries.
- Upon receipt label the media and place the media in quarantine until such time that the media has been released post completion of testing performed by Customer
- Transfer the tested media to the designated Customer site locations.
- Perform weekly stock checks and liaise with the designated customer contact to arrange replenishment order further media stock as required

**Experience Required**
- Experience in pipette maintenance is mandatory
- Proven excellent customer service focus and ability to work collaboratively
- Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills
- Good problem-solving capabilities and confidence to react promptly to deliver the best service possible
