Apprentice Assessor - Social Care OR Nursing
- Home Based - Permanent - £28K
Are you an experienced Apprenticeship Coach and Assessor? Have you delivered apprenticeship standards up to level 5 in the Social Care or Nursing sector? Are you looking to help the minds of tomorrow within your industry?
Job Purpose:

- You will be required to take ownership of each learner/apprentice and provide them with the best learning journey from start to finish whilst adhering to ESFA funding and compliance rules.
- You will be delivering and facilitating teaching, training coaching and mentoring apprentices.
- You will have a significant amount of interaction with learners and their employers therefore you will be required to demonstrate high standards of professionalism at all times
- The role involves a blend of home, head office, employer site locations (work base) and team meetings - most of which is currently remote due to Covid-19

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Lead a caseload of learners to support them to achieve their apprenticeship with monthly teaching sessions using a blended delivery approach (currently delivered remotely)
- Develop and promote excellent relationships within the team, with clients (managers & learners)
- Support learners to present evidence, which informs the apprenticeship knowledge, skills and behaviours for EPA
- Identify and support learners with additional learning needs
- Attend team and CPD meetings

Qualifications and Experience:

- Assessing or Teaching qualification
- Recognised Level 5 qualification in Management, Nursing and/or Healthcare or Social Work
