**Finance Data Manager** - Salary £35,000 to £40,000

We are currently recruiting for a Finance Data Manager to join our General ledger Accounting and Financial control team within UKGI Finance.

If you are someone who enjoys solving problems and seeing the resolution of issues to closure, this is the role for you.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated self-starter who gains enjoyment from understanding the end-to-end finance data journey and ensuring we have full and complete data for the business and finance to obtain.

**A bit about the job**:
You will also manage the outsourced Data Quality team, act as a key contact for Claims Business Partners ensuring they are kept aware of data issues that have a direct impact on them, as well as being seen as a trusted Subject Matter Expert (SME) for yourareas of expertise by the Finance and Actuarial teams.

Responsibilities will also include supporting UKIM and helping to prioritise and support process improvements identified and raise through the central query management tool (JIRA) whilst managing the issues identified and following through to resolution.

**Skills and experience we’re looking for**:

- Excellent relationship, stakeholder and communication skills - including influencing & negotiation skills.
- Strong system knowledge and ability.
- Strong claims process knowledge within a finance team is desirable.
- Previous delivery of cross site / teams’ processes.
- Proven track record of delivering efficiencies and improvements.
- Strong understanding of Risk Management and control frameworks.
