**Factory Joiner**

Based in Sutton-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire, is one of the UKs leading garden building manufactures. Mercia Garden Products produces all garden buildings ranging from budget sheds to summerhouses and insulated garden rooms. We are looking for a factory joiner to join the business and begin working within this fast paced environment.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Producing new jigs and templates for production from a 2D building diagram.
- Creating new building prototypes from 2D building drawings.
- Ensuring all jigs are well maintained and in suitable condition.
- Producing factory/office needs.
- Ensuring workshop is kept clean, tidy and free of hazards.
- Have previous woodworking experience
- Have good understanding of power tools including drills and various saws.
- Be able to work quickly and efficiently to match production’s needs.
- Manage workload set by team leaders or management.
- Be self-motivated to complete all tasks set.
- Be able to work alone or as part of a small team.

45.5 Hours Per Week

55 Minutes of Break per day

Hours: 6am - 4pm

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Newark-on-Trent, NG23 6QN: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Joinery: 1 year (preferred)
- Carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
