**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning and development in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster positive relationships and ensure a collaborative approach to childcare.
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a safe, inclusive environment where all children feel valued and respected.
- Drive the development of children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills through play-based learning experiences.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform future planning.
- Provide support and guidance to less experienced staff members, demonstrating leadership qualities within the team.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and best practices in childcare.

**Qualifications**
- A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (Level 2 or above).
- Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while fostering a positive learning environment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- A genuine passion for early years education and a commitment to continuous professional development.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
