£11.04 per hour, for over 18’s (Plus shift premiums where appropriate)

Shift premiums include - double time on Sundays, double/treble time for any bank holiday working and optional overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate.

**Shift pattern**:
40 hours per week

Day shift

5 days over 7

**About you**:
You’ll fit right into Greggs as a Hygiene Team Leader if:

- You’ve had some experience of leading a team and love playing an active part in the success of your teams;
- You’re experienced working in a fast-paced manufacturing and/or logistics environment;
- You know what you are talking about when it comes to health and safety and food safety standards;
- You are great at building relationships with people from different backgrounds;
- You have a good level of numeracy, literacy and IT skills and quite like record keeping and providing a great service;
- You are a great team player - respectful and appreciative towards our Greggs Family;

- You are friendly, honest and hardworking and enjoy some fun at work

**What you'll do**:
Our Warehouse Hygiene Team are the pinnacle of the warehouse to ensure that we maintain our Operational Effectiveness and keep all staff safe at work. Adhering to the high food safety requirements in all areas of the business, is key to the success that Greggs has become.

Our hygiene operatives are an essential part of our warehouse teams. They are not only relied upon to keep a clean and tidy warehouse, but to ensure that the warehouse has all the clean equipment needed to get our products to the shops. It is a busy role in a fast-paced environment

What you will do:

- Lead the day-to-day operation of the team and processes;
- Follow all process control systems including food safety and health and safety;
- Maintain strict hygiene standards through clean as you go;
- Monitor the team’s performance against key targets;
- Carry out basic training/coaching with team members e.g. new equipment, new procedures;
- Contribute to the PDR process with team members;
- Discuss opportunities for improving efficiencies with Supervisor;
- Attend and contribute in weekly meetings with your team;
- Ensuring hygiene and health and safety standards are applied for all staff on site.
