**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Handle materials with care, ensuring safe and efficient movement throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring accurate inventory management.
- Perform picking and packing tasks to prepare orders for dispatch.
- Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring all items are stored correctly and safely.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, as required (training may be provided).
- Assist in building and stocking shelves with products as needed.
- Participate in shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
- Utilise AS400 or similar systems for tracking inventory and managing stock levels.

**Skills**
- Proficient in materials handling techniques to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Experience with loading and unloading goods is essential.
- Familiarity with picking and packing processes within a warehouse setting.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail to maintain accuracy in inventory management and order fulfilment.
- A team player who can work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve operational goals.

Pay: £11.44-£11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 47 per week
