**Warehouse Operative - Earlies**

**Abingdon Distribution Centre**

In the role you will work as part of the Warehouse Team to store wet and dry goods to a consistent high quality and in a safe and efficient manner.

This is a full time permanent role working the late shift, Monday to Friday,6am till 2pm.

**Key responsibilities**
- Following legislative, company and departmental procedures, including H&S.
- Monitoring of and adherence to, warehouse processes.
- Receipt and despatch of goods.
- Stock Control.
- General maintenance/housekeeping duties around site.
- Operation of equipment involved in the warehousing operation.
- To support fellow team members in the pursuit of departmental goals.
- Manual handling of materials and components

**About you....**
- You will be required to be reliable and flexible in your approach to start and finish times.
- You will need to hold a current counter balance fork lift truck driver licence and ideally a reach truck driver licence as well.
- Clearly this position requires an element of physical activity.
- Pick accuracy, unloading and loading vehicles is key to being successful in this role.
- Attention to detail is critical to ensure stock intake and outgoing movements are accurate and timely.
- This position will also require the applicant to be reasonably proficient in the use of a computer and be prepared to allocate work to other members of the shift whilst taking overall responsibility for the decision making process during the period thenight shift is operational.
