We are excited to announce that Roberts Independent Opticians is currently recruiting for an Optical Assistant to join our friendly team on a full-time or part-time basis.

As a small, independent practice based in Newton-le-Willows we’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual. We offer a supportive and friendly work environment, with Sundays and Bank holidays off. If you’re passionate about delivering excellent customer service and thrive in a close-knit team environment, we’d love to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**
- General administrative duties such as answering the phone and booking appointments.
- Greeting patients on arrival and helping them to complete appropriate forms.
- Carrying out pre screening tests.
- Assisting patients with selection of spectacle frames and advising on appropriate lenses.
- Frame adjustments.
- Handle patient records with confidentiality and accuracy, ensuring all information is up-to-date in the system.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow within the practice.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in an Opticians
- Good interpersonal skills with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £25,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
