Yard Operative
Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative to join a building materials supplier based in Wallingford. This is a full time, permanent position.
Responsibilities as a Yard Operative:

- Keeping stock in place within the yard
- Loading and unloading equipment
- Picking orders by counter assistant
- Complying with company health and safety standards
- Assisting with other duties in the yard when needed

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Yard Operative or similar role
- Knowledge of building materials is preferred, but not essential
- Must have a Counterbalance forklift, preferably a valid licence
- Comfortable with manual handling
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team

A bit more info:

- Monday to Friday 7:00am - 16:30pm and every other Saturday 7:30am to 12:00pm
- Full training will be provided
- 30 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Free parking
- Salary is between £25,000 - £27,000 per annum, depending on experience
