**Management Accountant**
- Ensure the Company needs for information, analysis, and interpretation of all new business opportunities,

existing customers and product knowledge are met with the highest standards of accuracy
- Medium to long term planning of the business strategy, implementation, and resource management.
- Regular and timely management financial reporting

**_Main Responsibilities:_**
- Revenue assurance: billing in accordance with costs, and tariffs and reconciling systems so that

supplier costs are picked up and appropriately billed
- Ensuring that all surcharges are being picked up and billed, tariffs correctly applied and systems

configuration set up properly
- Management accounts: collating, preparing and interpreting reports (including monthly management

reports for P&L, cash flow and balance sheets), pro-forma analysis, budgets, accounts, commentaries

and financial statements.
- Monitoring and reporting of product and client volumes/activity both weekly and monthly, identifying

trends and variances, providing commentary and analysis where required.
- Undertaking analysis yield management (revenue per square metre, high value clients, low value

clients, stock rotation)
- Production, reporting and analysis of Group profitability on a micro level (Client, Agent, Service etc.)

**_Knowledge, Skills and_**

**_Experience:_**
- Experience of using Xero accounting package will be an advantage.
- Extensive experience within either the courier/logistics sector or a related industry.
- Proven financial analysis and forecasting ability
- Production and interpretation of management accounts
- **Revenue assurance / costing experience**:

- Proven ability to provide support, guidance, and training to financial and non-financial managers and
- Time management and planning skills
- Microsoft Office - Advanced Excel, (pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, modelling etc) Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
