HMCTS is looking for a temporary worker to join their team as a court usher. This role is currently temporary ongoing. There is a very good chance this role will be extended. This is a full time role, 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday. You will usuallywork 8-4/9-5. The pay rate for this role is £10.32 per hour, paid on a weekly basis.
This role is based at Stoke on Trent Combined Courts but you may be required to work at North Staffordshire Justice Centre.
As a court usher you will be the first point of contact for court users. You will be required to give them excellent customer service. Your duties will include:

- Meeting and greeting court users
- Giving directions to court rooms
- Assisting with the set up of hearing rooms
- Ensuring court hearings are running smoothly
- Using in house data bases
- Data entry
