**Technical Pre-Sales Specialist**

Salary 40k basic 55k OTE

We have big plans to bring pure fibre internet services to thousands of residents and businesses across Kent, utilising our Vfast and Orbital Net brands.

With this growth and the amazing opportunities, we have in front of us we see exciting times ahead, and we are now looking for someone dynamic to be part of that.

This is a permanent full-time position with hybrid working both from home and our Head office based near Canterbury in Kent.

The technical Pre-Sales Specialist will report directly to the Sales Director and will assist the design and implementation of technical proposals, projects, and technical documents. Working alongside the Business sales team will be a big part of the day-to-day solution design along with input into ways of better serving our existing customer base with innovative best fit solutions. As an expert in your area, you will have significant experience of working in the Internet Service Provider industry and have experience of working in collaboration with sales, technical, engineering, and operational teams to bring solutions to fruition. Confidence working directly with customers is critical for this role.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Provide specialist technical input into bid proposals, projects, and technical documents, and identify opportunities to support existing customers
- Collaborate with customers and sales teams to understand their requirements, and develop and recommend cost effective solutions which meet or exceed expectations
- Provide technical leadership within the team, sharing knowledge and skills, and providing supervision, guidance and mentoring as required to engineers, technicians and internal and external customers
- Understand the market position of key customers and competitors and use market intelligence to provide input into key strategic projects
- Engage with product teams to develop and recommend products and services to meet customers’ requirements and develop business

**Requirements**:

- Technical Experience of working within the Telecom ISP sector.
- Knowledge of the market and technological trends such as MPLS/VPLS, SDN and Cloud
- Technical knowledge & understanding of ISP solutions architecture (including IP), and product definition
- Track record of preparing solution architecture designs and costs to meet customers’ requirements
