Supervisor

We are currently looking to recruit a qualified **Supervisor** to join our Finglassie **Supported Living Services** in **Fife**. We are looking for a qualified practitioner with strong experience of working directly with people who have complex health care or communication needs and can guide, lead and motivate a team to deliver high-quality person-centred care, leading by example of best social care practice.

Each person supported is unique and we work in partnership with them, their friends and families and associated health and social work professionals to help overcome everyday challenges and plan for a positive future. Most of the people supported are very at home in their own in their accommodation and have a goal to becoming as independent as possible.

**About You/Essential criteria**

This role could be for you if:

- You have experience with working in large, flexible teams within a social care setting
- You can be flexible
- able to work days, evenings, weekends, night shift
- You have experience of supporting culture change in the work environment
- You have strong IT and office organisation skills
- You have excellent knowledge and experience of person-centred practice
- You have the ability to coach and mentor staff
- You can challenge poor or unsafe practice and to champion good practice and person-centred support for the individuals’ using services.
- You have excellent communication skills to relay complex and challenging information
- You hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care (or other specialty recognised by the SSSC for registration purposes and must be able to meet and maintain the appropriate SSSC registration requirements and conditions for a Supervisor in a Care at Home / Housing Support Service.
