Working effectively with internal and external managing agents, you’ll ensure the efficient and value-for-money service is delivered that maximises opportunities, mitigates risks and enables our client to work better for their residents.

**Head of Operations for External Managing Agents - Company**:

They are an important player in the capitals housing market but also just generally a great business.

**Head of Operations for External Managing Agents - Responsibilities**:

- Provide objective led leadership, engage teams to deliver high quality & cost effective services
- Ensure your services enable residents to live well & benefit from site visits and communication
- Establish a framework for contract management with internal and external managing agents
- Develop, direct and implement a comprehensive risk management programme, ensure compliant services and consultation on all property management and service charge matters
- Manage arrears collection whilst aligning with the association’s resident-centric service
- Have oversight of the operational income and expenditure account, meeting cost and income targets and adapting business processes where necessary
- Foster effective working with cross functional internal teams & external managing agents to develop strategy, resolve disputes, improve service and delivery

**Head of Operations for External Managing Agents - Profile**:

- Previous operations experience in Block and Estate Management, at Senior level
- Experience managing business performance/large budgets
- Experience in effective contract management with external stakeholders, ideally Managing Agents
- Excellent understanding of relevant legislation, statutory and regulatory requirements
- Proven strong and effective leadership, coaching and performance management of the team
- Track record of analysing services to improve delivery, satisfaction and value for money
- Excellent communication skills - experience delivering high quality reports and presentations
- Housing or relevant qualification is desirable - MIRPM support available
