Home Ownership Team Leader

**A little bit about what we are looking for...**
Within this role you will take responsibility for the direct line management and support of a team of resident managers who live on site and provide effective management of Independent Living (IL) home ownership properties.
Majority of time spent in this role will be out at our various schemes with members of the team. You will also be expected to come into the office when needed. There will be some allowance for home working when your schedule allows.
**Your responsibilities...**
- Provide overall management support, supervise, train, empower, and motivate colleagues within the team.
- Assist the Home Ownership Manager with line management of the assistants within the office-based team.
- Undertake recruitment and inductions for new starters within the RM service as and when necessary.
- Undertake 1-2-1 meetings, team meetings, regular reviews of staff performance and where necessary liaise with the Home Ownership Manager and HR on performance-related issues.
- Provide practical support with day-to-day operational enquiries and problem solving to achieve positive outcomes for all Home Ownership customers.
- Inspect and manage Cedars Court and Coniston Close schemes and cover for the Resident Managers during periods of annual leave and sickness as required and in the event of emergencies.
- Monitor Service 24 reports and take the required action.
- Ensure all safe and wellbeing documents are recorded and saved appropriately along with assessments and any other relevant paperwork.
- Undertake all LPE1 enquiries relating to IL leasehold schemes.
- Attend scheme meetings as and when necessary to support the resident manager and or other departments.

- Part or full CIH professional qualification or equivalent.
- Knowledge of social housing management procedures.
- Knowledge of Leasehold Home Ownership if coming from a housing background.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and good practice.
- Experience working for a housing environment, preferably social housing management.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £37,000.00 per year
