**Senior Research Manager**

We are looking to find a Senior Research Manager for a charity that aims to help keep children and young people from becoming involved in violence.

**Position**: Senior Research Manager

**Location**: London Head Office (Hybrid working available)

**Hours**:Full Time

**Salary**: £49,126 - £51,750 per annum

**Contract**: Permanent

**Application Deadline**: 5th October at 9am

**About the role**:
The Senior Research Manager is an essential role for the charity and will develop a portfolio of impactful projects. The role will also help produce research that will be used to create actual changes in the lives of children and young people.

**Some of your key responsibilities will include**:

- Develop a future pipeline of reviews that will lead to new review topics for funding
- Manage the grants to review alongside a partner organisation to ensure reviews meet the charities aims
- Becoming an advocate for the insights generated by funded reviews both within and outside the organisation. You will ensure that these insights inform strategy and are accurately communicated to policymakers and practitioners.
- Providing leadership across the organisation to ensure synthesis is high-quality. You’ll be the go-to person for support with evidence synthesis.
- You will ensure that reviews are used to update and expand Evidence and Gaps Maps.

**About you**:
You will need the following essential skills and experience:

- Passionate about contributing to the aims of the charity
- Experience working in a research and evidence role
- Strong critical appraisal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to translate complex research into easy-to-understand wording
- Project management skills
