**Quality Officer**

**Location: Newcastle**

**Salary: £27,000 - £28,000**

**The role**

Working as a **Quality Officer **within the Quality team you would be responsible for the release of materials for use in the manufacture of medicinal products and the coordination of testing of raw materials, intermediates and finished products.

**Responsibilities**:

- Quality** **release of products and materials
- Reviewing, approving, and issuing specifications and validation documentation
- Writing, reviewing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Provide administrative support relating to the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Assist with technical customer queries and product investigations

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to achieve and maintain high standards
- Experience within analytical testing is desirable but not required.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced QA professional or someone interested in moving out of the lab and starting a career within pharmaceutical quality assurance.
