_My client is looking for a Senior Analyst who has skills in data handling, including SQL, and experience of adult social care statutory returns. The job is to work with the service to understand the process, write a SQL query to extract the data, thenquality assure it with the service and prepare the return. _

- The post-holder will think innovatively and creatively to identify alternative ways of delivering outcomes in line with cross-Council objectives. Specifically you will support the delivery of the following functions: _
- Management & performance information _
- Strategic support for Quality Assurance _
- Strategic support for Inspections of Council services Whilst working collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider delivery of all aspects of the work of the Business Intelligence Team._
**_Principal Accountabilities: _**:

- Support the provision of high quality management information and performance reporting for the Council, Members, and partners. _
- Support services to develop and deliver a plan for critical work including delivery of our regulatory reporting, statutory commitments and our commitments to joint arrangements with our partners. _
- Support the co-ordination of information to ensure the Council is prepared for Inspections of its services. _
- Support services in their Quality Assurance role ensuring that service frameworks are sufficient and that governance of programmes and projects is appropriate. _
- Contribute to innovative and creative thinking within the service to develop alternative ways of delivering business intelligence to improve our ability to be an intelligence led Council. _
- Support the delivery of the agreed outcomes for your team. _
- Contribute to the development and delivery of department and function plans. _
- Support regulatory and Council reporting processes and compliance across the organisation. _
- Undertake a wide range of data analysis to provide high quality business intelligence to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders._
- **IT and Technical Skills required; **_
- _ Proven ability in statistical analysis, advanced Excel skills, experience of database manipulation and reporting, other skills such as SQL (Structured Query Language, VBA (Visual Basic for Applications)._
