A fantastic opportunity with great working hours has become available for a fast moving consumer goods company in South Manchester. It is for a full-time permanent Sales Order Processing Administrator working for a friendly expanding team. The hours areMonday - Thursday 8 - 4.30pm and an early finish on Fridays. The main purpose of the role is the ensure all customer orders are processed and despatched in a timely and cost-effective manner. Customer satisfaction, attention to detail, and time managementare very important in this role.
About The Role:

- To ensure processes are consistently followed in order to deliver a consistently high level of customer service.
- Being able to liaise with different departments, particularly sales, buying and technical.
- Accurately process customer pro forma invoices and sales orders on system, and ensure the customer is appropriately updated in a timely matter.
- Maintain accuracy of data within ERP Sales Order System.
- Work with the 3P warehouse team to ensure orders are despatched/collected on time.
- Lise with Credit Control to ensure orders are correctly processed according to credit status.
- Track orders to monitor whether they are on schedule.
- Ensure all required documentation for export shipments are accurate.
- Act as a first point of contact for any customer complaints and provide support if cover is required.
- Arrange necessary inspections and liaise with internal departments and external suppliers.
- Arranging and packing of samples for customers, sending by courier in the most cost-effective way.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience of working in a busy customer service environment, with excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge of export legislation and required documentation is very ideal.
- Experience of shipping dangerous goods.
- Experience of working with third party warehousing and logistics providers essential.
- Good IT and computer skills, including some understanding of ERP sales order systems, and Excel.
- Highly organised, being able to prioritise within a fast-paced environment and keep calm under pressure.
- Be able to communicate effectively and build relationships with internal functions and external customers/suppliers.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
