Senior Surveyor

We have a challenging and exciting role for a customer focused individual to join the West Lancashire Borough Council's Repair team. You will be a team player who will manage a small team and help us deliver high quality services to our customer around eradication of damp and mould in our housing stock.

You will assist the Response Maintenance Manager in the provision of a day to day maintenance service for the Council’s housing stock and other property assets as required to meet the Council's responsibilities in the borough and provide other contracted services as required.

The role involves planning and carrying out property surveys, identifying the cause of damp and mould. You will be correctly identifying the remedial works required, and commissioning this work with our contractor. You will lead a small and dedicated team within our property Services division.

The successful applicant will be required to undergo security checks as part of the Baseline Personnel Security Standard for accessing Government records. This will include a Basic DBS check.
