I am currently recruiting a Credit Risk and Credit controller Assistant for a energy company based in East London, close to Canary Wharf station.

**Client Details**

My client is a fast growing and well known company based in East London. Due to recent rapid growth and new acquisition they are now looking to hire a Credit Risk and Credit Controller for 6 month temporary contract.

This is a temporary role with hybrid working 2-3 days in the office / working from home.

Their offices are based in London, close to Canary Wharf Tube Station.

This is an entry level role for someone with an interest in Credit or 12 months Credit Control experience.

**Description**

**Responsibilities**:

- Verify and update all customer names in our database (v/s insurers)
- Manage Customer accounts operations in the credit management area : daily controls on held orders, monitor accounts to ensure payments are made to terms and the credit limit is adhered to, reviews on customers via a monthly report
- Produce monthly customer statements
- Responsible for running of dunning letters
- Contribute to producing & improving monthly credit control dashboard (worst offenders, actions, progress & areas of concern...)
- Monitor all business credit committees and actions (fortnightly)
- Interface with Treasury operations on the Credit side (Actioning bank mandates, Daily,Bacs Payment Services)
- Daily check to see if we have received any bank changes to customers, Advances on Rebates for Lubricants division, tickets from SSC)
TCS UK
- Allocate payments / refunds from bank statement
- Block on fraud transactions reported in Mangopay / provide evidence for reported fraud transactions
- Action refunds following Company process
- Block and unblock customers for payments received /not received
- Assist Credit Controller in business developments

**Profile**

**Qualifications**
- Education to A level standard, preferably ICM Graduate, with 2 years' experience in Credit Management
Key competencies
- Pro-active approach eager to learn and develop
- Analytical skills
- Interpersonal skills : negotiations and discussion with the business
- Strong team ethic
- Takes opportunities to improve performance and processes
- The ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritize workload in busy periods
- IT literate - with excel skills
- Commercially aware with knowledge of the oil industry (preferable)
- Computer literate and able to work under own initiative
