Are you an ex windows and doors fitter wanting to come off the tools?
The ideal Surveyor
You will be required to attend, survey and report on Insurance Claims allocated, with regards to all types of windows and doors.
This includes UPVC, timber and aluminium. This can be for windows, doors, conservatories, French and patio doors. You will also be asked to survey all types of garage doors.
Ideally, you will have experience of surveying or be a very experienced Fitter/Joiner of windows and doors. You will be self-motivated, polite, respectable in appearance, and above all demonstrate attention to detail, with accuracy being most important.
Your area will generally be around Kent. So, ideally you will be based in the close region of Kent too. Our job types are very much single items rather than full houses on conservatories.
There will be an extensive period of training in relation to our specific procedures, you will be provided with a PDA to complete the surveys and all other equipment that you need such as specific measuring tools, ladders and samples.
There is no selling involved. You need to provide a reliable and respectable car to travel to your appointments, for which you are paid 45 pence per mile for the first 10000 miles per annum and 25 pence per mile thereafter.
All your jobs will be booked through a fully automated system using the latest mapping software. There will be no requirement for you to speak to suppliers or get involved in the ordered of the items, meaning when you have completed the allocated surveys youare free to finish work. (The job is swings and roundabouts)
Working days are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, 28 days of holiday per year. Pension scheme available.
Salary
A competitive salary up to £39,000 (£750 per week) and further career advancement alongside ongoing training & development.
This is a FULL-TIME PAYE career with fast-track progression, NOT a temporary contract.
