They are recruiting for Documentation Specialist to join their team at their offices in Chester, this is a full time office based role working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. This role is on an initial contract of 6 months with the possibility of extension andprogression.
As a Document Specialist your main responsibilities will involve:
- Managing the communication of Know Your Customer documentation requirements as well as the collection of required documents within determined time limits
- Maintaining a working knowledge of Know Your Customer documentation requirements for various EMEA and APAC jurisdiction
- Reviewing and implementation of updated Constitutional Documents
- Working in partnership with the client to manage expectations of the process and timelines, providing support and guidance throughout the document collection process to ensure the optimal resolution
- Ensuring that all aspects Documentation have been requested from the client
- Dealing internally with business partners to ensure cases are actioned promptly. Holding occasional calls and Webex sessions assist in completing our documentation requirements
- Independently verifying information provided by the client
- Good Business Partner relationship building including but not limited to Compliance Officers, Front Office, and Sales Team etc.
- Coordinating with internal Business Partners as necessary
- Attending conference calls to answer client queries and assist with the resolution of any issues
As a Document Collection Associate your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
- Being able to demonstrate strong experience with client facing roles, both orally and written, preferably within a similar client servicing function
- Experience dealing with corporate clients at all levels in a positive and professional manner, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
- Self motivating, flexible, proactive; excellent team player and able to work independent of direct supervision
- Problem solving/analytical and organizational skills
- General PC, Windows and Excel Knowledge
Core skills:
- Recent experience of working in a client focused role within the Financial Services Industry involving client on-boarding and legal/KYC documentation processes would be advantageous
- Enthusiasm, commitment and a willingness to take on new roles and responsibilities and also be able to adapt to other client onboarding tasks when required
- Recent experience of working in a risk-based environment
- Fully conversant with the MS Office suite
- Ability to work in a pressurized environment
- Adaptability to change in an ever-changing environment
- Additional European language desired (ideally French/Spanish/Italian/German)
