The Team Administrator will be responsible for receiving, processing, scanning and forwarding of referrals: agreeing, amending and issuing appointments;
The post holder will provide an administrative function to minuting Team meetings, filing and other general administrative duties

The working days will be Monday - Friday 9.00 - 15.00.

The Team Administrator will undertake general office duties. They will answer and manage calls from a variety of sources including service users and their carers / relatives and other health and social care professionals. They will enter new referrals and process completed referrals / assessments on the Electronic Patient Record System, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date. Minute taking skills would be advantageous and good keyboard skills are essential.

Applicants should have previous office experience, including all the usual skills required for such a post ie., excellent keyboard skills, be competent in word processing, Excel, Word and Outlook. They will answer and manage calls regarding referrals into the service, this may also include calls from patients and their carers / relatives and other health and social care professionals, therefore the applicant will need to have an excellent telephone manner together with being able to work under pressure and have the ability to prioritise their workload.
