Dream Doors Telford and Shrewsbury is part of the UK’s leading and award winning Kitchen makeover company, specialising in renovating existing kitchens instead of replacing; typically saving customers between 40% and 50% of the cost of a new kitchen.
The Wellington showroom opened 3 years ago, and as part of its continued growth we are now recruiting for a part time Delivery Driver / Stores Person to work as part of a small but busy team.
**THE ROLE**
As Delivery Driver / Stores Person you will be responsible for delivering materials to site to support fits and removing waste at the end of fits.
You will also be responsible for checking in deliveries to the showroom and ensuring that the stores are kept tidy and well organised.
This is currently a Part Time role of approximately 30 hours per week, but with the opportunity for additional hours during busy times
Hours of work are flexible between 8.30 to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
As the business grows there may be opportunities to take on additional hours and responsibilities.
**THE PERSON**
The successful Applicant must hold a clean drivers licence.
As some loads are bulky and heavy, physical fitness is important.
You will be liaising with customers, fitters, suppliers and showroom staff, so good communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work with a sense of urgency and initiative.
The role will suit someone who is organised, has a good attention to detail and is capable of recording work accurately following the Dream Doors inhouse system.
Handyman skills and an understanding kitchen terminology would be an advantage.
