Butler Rose is working exclusively with a growing manufacturing business in East Devon to recruit a management accountant on a permanent basis.

This is very much a hybrid working role and there is a lot of flexibility around remote working as well as working patterns.

Reporting into the Finance Director, key duties will include:

- Producing all information necessary for monthly management accounts including sales and product profitability analysis.
- Using ERP system to carry out margin analysis, product analysis and costings
- Working closely with the production team
- Overseeing daily sales and purchase invoices
- Processing weekly supplier payment runs
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare variance analysis to forecasts.
- VAT reconciliations, preparation of monthly VAT returns
- Attending monthly business unit meetings to report on finance by department.
- Overseeing the accounts assistant and providing support where needed.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACCA or qualified by experience Management Accountant who is able to ensure accurate and timely management information is provided at all times. Experience within a manufacturing setting and knowledgeof ERP / MRP systems is highly desirable but not essential.
