**LGV Driver**

**Salary**: £16.73 per hour
**Hours**: 45 hours per week
**Location**: Chapterhouse, CH65 4EP

As an LGV Driver at FCC Environment, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company vehicles, ensuring compliance with all legal, environmental, and health & safety requirements. You will play a key role in providing excellent service to our customers while always maintaining a professional and courteous approach.

This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week.

**What will you be doing?**
- Drive and take responsibility for allocated vehicles and equipment
- Ensure all vehicle checks, safety equipment, and PPE requirements are met
- Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
- Complete all associated paperwork accurately and on time
- Maintain compliance with all legal, environmental, and company policies
- Carry out daily vehicle maintenance checks (oil, water, etc.)
- Report defects, faults, and incidents promptly
- Support with winter emergency work such as gritting and snow clearance
- Undertake any other duties as required

**What are we looking for?**
- Qualified - HGV Class 1 entitlement and CPC qualification are essential
- Experienced - proven driving industry experience
- Safety-conscious - strong focus on health & safety and compliance
- Customer-focused - professional, polite, and courteous always
- Reliable and adaptable - able to respond to changing priorities, including emergency and seasonal duties
- Proactive - willing to identify and suggest safe and efficient working practices
