**We have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our Outpatients Department based at The London Clinic in Central London, W1G 6BW, with a salary range on offer of £25,850 - £27,717 per annum.**

The London Clinic is the UK’s largest independently owned non-profit hospital. We undertake highly complex procedures in addition to routine surgery and medicine. Consisting of over 150+ patients beds and 10 operating theatres including dedicated endoscopy suites, a day surgery unit and a 24 hour consultant-led Intensive Care Unit. The Clinical rooms, Gynaecology suite, ENT suite and Consulting rooms are based in building in and around Harley Street. We combine the warmth of traditional patient care with unrivalled expertise and we aim to give the best complete patient experience.

**Job Profile**

As a Healthcare Assistant you will support with overall day to day operation of the clinical & consulting outpatient’s rooms in multiple buildings ensuring overall care and safety to the patient, visitors and staff.
- Job Type: This is a full time, permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Shifts: We operate a mixed shift pattern - Earlies / Lates.

**Key Duties**
- Support the nursing team to deliver high quality patient centred care.
- Act as a chaperone during patient examinations and assist Consultants of different specialities with specified procedures that may be performed in the outpatient setting, charging and writing notes for these on the Clinic computer system
- Assist in delivering a high standard of holistic care to patients, recognising their individuality, and promoting privacy and dignity at all times
- To assist in the smooth running of a variety of specified Consultant clinics working alongside reception and clinical staff or at times autonomously including ENT/Gynaecology/Dermatology

**Skills & Experience**
- NVQ in Care Level 3/4 or equivalent
- Previous experience working in an outpatient area within a hospital.
- To have orthopaedic, gynaecology, ENT background.
- To hold a Care certificate or be working towards this.
- Experience with Meditech would be greatly beneficial.
