**Maintenance Assistant**

**Lochside House Hotel**

We're currently looking for a Maintenance Assistant at Lochside House Hotel. You will be tasked with working within the maintenance team at Lochside and from time to time support other venues in the group or RAD Project Management team.

You will be tasked with grounds maintenance such as gardening, power washing, weeding, etc. Also, there will be maintenance of the property including basic joinery and electrical works. You will also carry out and record pool plant tests and chlorine tests on hot tubs.

As a Maintenance Assistant / Hanyperson you will carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks correctly and efficiently ensuring a safe environment for guests, visitors and employees. You will need to have a keen eye for detail, be an effective communicator and possess excellent knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations. You will be organised and react promptly and efficiently as requested to meet the needs of the business.

**What you’ll need.**
- Previous experience within a maintenance role.
- A time-served trades person would be highly beneficial but not essential.
- Experience with pool plant testing would be beneficial
- Flexibility is required as the role may involve some shift and weekend work
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent communication skills
- Drivers license Essential
