My client is a forward thinking and rapidly growing property developer in Hampshire, whose recent history has seen them with a reinvigorated strategy accompanied by a radical transformation programme. Having identified the need for further support in thefinancial accounting team, they are now recruiting for an Interim Financial Reporting Accountant on a 12-month fixed term contract to:

- Support the delivery of final and interim audits, being both a key point of contact for external auditors as well as a driving force of financial control and accuracy in financial data
- Complete month end tasks in the context of a complex Group organisation structure
- Lead on consolidations, reporting at both group and subsidiary level, and accounting for intercompany transfers
- Provide support for internal stakeholders in areas such as tax, for example for the Construction and Development teams
- Ensure accounts are reconciled in a timely manner, and ultimately support the preparation of final year end statutory accounts.

This could be an excellent role for an ambitious and technically strong accountant to further their career in a growing and complex environment. Staff in the finance team come from a mixed background of large commercial organisations, other property developmentcompanies, Big Four and other practice backgrounds, and those with strong technical finance skills coupled with well honed interpersonal skills have been proven to succeed.

The modern office in Hampshire is open full time, but the Finance team works on a hybrid basis and is typically present twice per week.

To be considered for this role, please meet the following criteria:

- Ideally come from a Social Housing, Property Development, or another complex commercial/private organisation that has an asset-heavy balance sheet such as telecoms, manufacturing, real estate or infrastructure
- Ideally have a practice/audit background, though those who qualified in industry should still be encouraged to apply.
