We have an exciting opportunity to join our business as a Cash & Banking Assistant. You will bring bundles of experience working in a previous Accountancy/Finance related role, ideally within a purchase or sales ledger setting. You’ll be working closely as a team to ensure the smooth running of our daily banking operations.

It’s a busy team and your day to day will consist of a variety of tasks including bank reconciliations, raising customer invoices, recording and posting cheques, submitting Direct Debit files, administering daily cash reports, and processing BACS/CHAPS payments.

**About you**

First and foremost, you will ideally have experience within a purchase or sales ledger setting.
You will bring accuracy to your work by ensuring all banking transactions for the Group are processed in accordance with our policy, to agreed timescales and recorded correctly in the finance ledgers.
You are confident in your ability to ensure all payments are made on time, as well as ensuring cash is banked accurately.
You’ll be able to work to ensure that all cash transactions are processed on the ledgers accurately.
