**Overview**
Situated within the grounds of Torkington Primary School, our small private nursery is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Facilitator to join our team.

This role is essential in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children in their formative years.

**Duties**
- Create and implement engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
- Manage behaviour with positive reinforcement techniques.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents/carers on their development.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall learning experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting.
- Drive initiatives that promote leadership skills among children through group activities.

**Experience**
- A qualification in Early Childhood Education ( level 3) or equivalent is essential.
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Experience in managing groups of children effectively and compassionately.
- Demonstrated ability to lead activities that promote social interaction and teamwork among children.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and contributing positively to their early development.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Pay: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Nursery: 2 years (preferred)
- Nursery experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
- Management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
