As the FP and A Analyst your role will ensure the month-end reporting cycle is run accurately and effectively, you will provide business critical insights using analytics; ensuring cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and help teams drive initiativesforward.

My client is a well-established business based in the Lewes area. They operate within the Retail/FMCG industry and are a recognisable brand.
**Description**
As the FP and A Analyst your core responsibilities will involve:
- Responsible for preparing monthly management accounts.
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, journals and controlling general accruals and prepayments.
- Improve, maintain and update budget and forecast spreadsheets.
- Support the annual and quarterly planning processes, including the development of business plans, operating models, and resource allocation.
- Creation and development of various weekly and monthly management information and reporting.
- Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking and present findings to the senior management team.
- Support operational and strategic initiatives by developing work plans, gathering and synthesizing relevant data, leading analyses and developing final recommendations, thereby facilitating alignment on operational goals.
- Maintain weekly and monthly KPI reporting.
- Identify and drive process improvements.
- Work closely with the sales team to maintain a rolling forecast of sales.
- Support marketing team to develop return on investment analysis for marketing campaigns.
- Support operational and strategic initiatives by developing work plans, gathering and synthesizing relevant data, leading analyses and developing final recommendations, thereby facilitating alignment on operational goals.
**Profile**
- Possess Management Accounting and/or FP&A experience from industry.
- Excellent financial modelling skills and business partnering skills
- Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions and ability to translate these to Google Sheets
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to present to leadership team
- Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills
- Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently
- A real team player who can collaborate internally and externally
**Job Offer**
- Salary £38,000 - £45,000
