**Description**:
It’s an exciting time to join AXA Retail and we are now looking to recruit a number of Third Party Auditors, to carry out audits of AXA Retail Delegated Authority brokers and other in scope third parties. Focusing on their adherence to relevant underwriting rules and guidelines, assessing their management of conduct risk and reviewing any other processes undertaken by third parties on behalf of AXA.
This will be done by carrying out a review, providing feedback results and assisting with action planning to mitigate any issues within the processes and practices, ensuring continuous improvement. **What you’ll be doing**:
- Create and maintain a schedule of audits in line with the requirements of the AXA Retail Leadership Team and adhering to the AXA UK Delegated Authority Policy, or other associated policies.
- Carrying out detailed preparation and planning for each audit including selection of random representative sample of cases, maintenance of question sets and clear communication plans.
- Executing audits, ensuring all cases reviewed consistently and within timescales.
- Documenting and presenting the audit findings to the key stakeholders.
- Provide analysis on the results of the audit along with recommendations for improvements to assist with the action planning process.
- Development of relationships with all internal stakeholders and external stakeholders such as Delegated Authority Brokers
- Look for opportunities to improve working practices and procedures making recommendations for change where appropriate.
- To work closely with Audit colleagues to develop a holistic audit approach, assessing broker technical and customer conduct performance.
**Qualifications**:
- In depth technical knowledge of Underwriting procedures and processes
- Strong knowledge of FCA / PRA requirements, particularly focused on Conduct Risk
- Ability to adopt a risk-based approach to their work
- Ability to analyse data and report
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint and Powerpoint
- Ability to build relationships and engage with staff at all levels within and outside the organisation, Broker relationship experience advantageous
- Good understanding of the importance of ensuring good customer outcomes in line with regulatory expectations
- 5 years Underwriting experience, particularly Personal Lines Intermediary (desirable)
- 2 years Audit, Conduct Risk and Customer Outcomes experience (desirable)
- Internal QA experience or Risk & Compliance knowledge (desirable)
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
