**Exam Invigilators required in central Wakefield**

Exam Invigilators are responsible for ensuring that exams are conducted in an appropriate manner within the correct time frame. The need for exam invigilators is throughout the year, but predominately October to February for mock exam season and April to July for main exam season. This role is great for those who have some spare time and looking for some part-time work. Previous experience isn’t necessary as full training is provided.

**Typical duties include**:

- Preparing the exam hall and other exam rooms to ensure that it meets requirements.
- Ensuring that exam conditions are always adhered to.
- Answering any queries that a student may have about the exam.
- Monitoring students to ensure that there is no malpractice during the exam.
- Distributing stationery and exam papers.
- Providing support where necessary should an emergency arise e.g. fire alarm

As an Exam Invigilator with Provide Education, you are required to have an up-to-date DBS that is on the DBS Update Service and must complete Safeguarding at a minimum of Level 1.
