**Accounting and Investment Officer**
Up to £27,000 plus excellent benefits
Manchester City Centre (hybrid)
10-month fixed-term contract

We're looking for an accounting and investment officer to join us and help to deliver strong financial control and reporting across our pensions portfolio.

In this role, you’ll deliver a wide range of accounting processes to support the maintenance and financial control of our pension schemes. You’ll also get exposure to investment accounting for over £10bn of assets, and we'll give you real autonomy to plan and prioritise your work to meet challenging deadlines every single day.

**In this role, you can expect to**:

- Process a range of banking and investment reconciliations
- Accurately record and process financial transactions, including accruals and prepayments
- Deliver month-end and year-end processes
- Assist with pension scheme accounts and audit preparation
- Prepare periodic financial reporting for internal and external partners
- Experience in reconciliations, accruals and prepayments
- Good Microsoft Excel and analytical skills
- The ability to work well as part of a team and build strong working relationships
- Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.
