Sales Account Manager

We're pleased to be recruiting for a nationally renowned financial services company with an enviable list of clients and a reputation for developing pioneering technology.
Due to expansion, my client is looking for an experienced Sales Account Manager to join their high performing sales and client relationship team. You will be selling and relationship-building for the market-leading online systems and services they provideto other financial services companies.
Your role will be a combination of driving new sales, cross-selling other products to existing clients and managing client relationships.
You will be responsible for delivering optimal profit and revenue growth through existing business, following up on new business opportunities and acting as a technical expert in new and existing business sales, liaising with both customers and internaldepartments to ensure effective and commercially focused delivery against customer requirements.
The role will work closely with the teams in Marketing, IT, Events, Data and Analytics to ensure successful delivery of a joined up programme of sales activities.
What you will need:
- 3+ years of business development in the financial services arena.
- Proven sales ability.
- Good knowledge of I.T. financial products.
- A demonstrable personal track record of winning new business.
- A passion for financial services.
- A knowledge of personal finance products ideally from a banking or building society background.
- Self-motivation and enthusiasm with excellent account management skills.
The position offers, of course, a competitive salary plus bonus. The benefits include an enhanced workplace pension, group life insurance and free car parking.
Hours-35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, although you are expected to work such reasonable additional time as is necessary to adequately fulfil the requirements of this role.
Holidays-25 days per annum plus statutory holidays.
