**LOCATION: Basingstoke**

**JOB TITLE: Warehouse Operative**

**SALARY: £10.50 per hour**

**WORKING HOURS: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm (40 hours per week)**

InstaVolt are the largest owner operator of rapid electric vehicle charging stations across the UK and we pride ourselves on customer experience and satisfaction. Winners of multiple industry and driver awards we are the market leader in EV infrastructure and due to rapid expansion of the charging network we are now hiring for a skilled and dedicated warehouse operative.

The role will be based at our Basingstoke warehouse and will suit a dedicated individual who is looking to expand their knowledge of this expanding industry and further their career.

**Key duties**:

- Receiving and checking deliveries ensuring compliance of proof of delivery & quality of goods.
- Reporting all the stock defects to Warehouse Stock Controller.
- Preparing and despatching materials and parts for onsite repairs and installations.
- Checking and maintaining company vehicles in line with company expectations.
- Assisting with performing regular 3rd party and internal stock checks
- Maintaining good housekeeping standard across the premises.
- Adhering to a strict Health and Safety environment and policies.

**What do you need?**
- Experience working in either a factory or warehouse environment.
- Structured and organised to manage multiple priorities.
- The ability to work without supervision and at your own initiative.
- Manual handling in the unpacking of large wooden shipping boxes will be required
- Full UK Driving licence held for at least 1 year.
- Have a basic knowledge of Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to comprehend and adhere to health and safety regulations and standards
- Experience and licenced with forklift driving (counterbalance forklift)
- Good communication and customer facing skills, with the ability to communicate with a variety of people during your working day.
- Flexibility as working outside of set working hours might be needed.
- All corporate workwear and appropriate PPE
- Tools, test equipment and equipment required to complete their duties
- Paid overtime

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour
