Maintenance Person /Handyman/Woman
We are a care home group looking for a reliable Maintenance Person or Handyman/woman to undertake upkeep and repair tasks across our homes. The role will involve work across different care homes in the group, though mileage will be covered and a van may be provided if requested.
You must be well-organized with strong general repair skills and competency to use hand tools if needed. You will be responsible for completing routine maintenance, undertaking repairs and tackling a range of other practical tasks.
**Responsibilities**:
- General building & ground maintenance
- Perform maintenance and light repairs
- Painting and decorating works
- Identify and report any major repair works
**Hours/Pay**:
- 1 Day, 8 hours per week**
- This role is initially for 8 hours per week however could look to be increased in December dependant on number of sites taken on.
- Rate: £12.45 per hour
- Mileage covered with possible van if required
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 8 per week
**Salary**: £12.45 per hour
